TO ALL CHRISTIANS…
Let’s remember what our focus is:
The land of our calling, the heavenly land, the kingdom which is to come.
And let’s remember how we get there:
We walk by the Spirit in faithful obedience to God’s Word, which produces righteous acts, which in turn makes up our wedding garment, which readies us for the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Marriage of the Lamb. We are making this journey—running this race—in order to be found approved at that Judgment Seat, so that we will hear from our Lord and Judge, “Well done, my good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.” And what is His joy? Us, being found complete (spirit, soul, body), having worked out our salvation in anticipation of being a co-heir with Christ. Us, being found to be overcomers, to sit on His throne with Him during that Seventh Day Rest out ahead, ruling and reigning with Him. Us, being glorified as He is glorified…all to bring glory to the Father. |
